ANIMAL CONTROL
The Coweta County Animal Control Department is responsible for enforcing the county’s Animal Control Ordinance, sometimes referred to as a “leash law”. Each owner has a responsibility to follow this ordinance and the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and Easements for Arbor Springs.

Pet owners must ensure their pets are not a nuisance to other residents.
Owners must prevent pets from running at large upon the streets, sidewalks, parks or other public places. Animals are not allowed in the pool or tennis courts.
Owners shall prevent their animal from trespassing upon another person’s property without that person’s permission.
Owners shall prevent their animal from trespassing on the golf course & cart trails.
All animals are for household pets only, not for commercial purposes. No more than two adult dogs allowed. No boarding of animals allowed.
Fences are allowed for the purpose of confining an animal. Owners must follow the Architectural Control Guidelines for fencing in Arbor Springs and obtain written approval prior to installation.
Doghouses are not allowed. Shelter must be provided for an animal within the house.
It shall be the duty of every owner that walks their dog on a leash to clean up all animal feces immediately.
